This Halloween, step into the shadowy rooms of Stowe House and join us on The Boo! Clue Trail! Armed with your wits (and a little courage), children will follow a path of spooky riddles and playful puzzles hidden throughout the house. Each room holds a clue — can you solve them all to uncover the secrets of the trail?

Designed especially for ages 5–10, this fun (and not-too-scary) adventure will spark imaginations, test detective skills, and fill the historic house with giggles and gasps. Costumes are welcome, and every young riddle-solver who completes the trail will earn a special Halloween treat!

Make & Take: Woolly Spooks 
Along the trail, stop by our craft corner and create your very own woolly Halloween friend to take home. Using wool, felt, and a scrunched-up paper ball, you’ll bring a spooky tassel character to life — will it be a googly-eyed ghost, a wriggly ghoul, or a silly little monster? With just a few snips and knots, you’ll have a frightfully fun companion for the season.
